The most historic promenade in Catalonia lies in a corner of incomparable beauty: 2.6 kilometres and 2,600 years of history. Strolling from Sant Martí d'Empúries to l'Escala, we come into contact with the footprint of the Greeks and Romans who established the first settlements on the peninsula during the classical era.
This is a visit of approximately 1,5 hours without any entrances into sites that will allow us to discover the old town of Girona. We will see the exterior of the monastery of Sant Pere de Galligants and the Arabic Baths; we will learn about the Cathedral and the old Jewish quarter; at the end of the visit we will walk in some of the streets used by the guilds back in time.
In this visit we will discover the beautiful romanesque architecture in town: the Arabic Baths, unique public baths building of this style in Europe, as well as the charming monastery of Sant Pere de Galligants and the chapel of Sant Nicolau.

Girona's Jewish quarter, named Call, is qualified as the best preserved in Spain. It was formed around Força Street, near the Cathedral. This quarter, of narrow streets and mysterious corners, reached a population of 800 people in its best moment.
This charming town is known for its production of anchovies and the Costa Brava salt, as well as its old Mediterranean roots and traditions that their inhabitants have managed to keep and transmit throughout the centuries. The Anchovy and Salt Museum and the Alfolí building witness the value of these traditions.
This former fishermen town has become now one of the most beautiful and inviting places in Costa Brava. The narrowing windy streets and the XIIIth century city walls shape the old village, which expands up the hill, from where we will enjoy some wonderful views of Costa Brava and its small rocky bays, as well as the hiking paths.
Besalú is a charming town located on a hill topped by a castle and surrounded by river Fluvià. This is land of counts and knights, where history takes us back to the origins of Old Catalonia.
