Medieval castle in the small village of La Pera, in the region of Baix Empordà, which Salvador Dalí reconstructed, redecorated and offered to his lovely Gala, as her refuge and place to relax.
She became the lady of the castle and he was her knight. Dalí could only visit her in the castle if she had previously sent him a written invitation. That was a way to increase and renew their love and their passion.
With the passing of time, the castle ended up being the mausoleum of Gala and the last workshop of Dalí.
